Shalonda Turner Simoneaux is the Chief Academic Officer of JCFA EBR in Baton Rouge. A native of Alexandria, Louisiana, she holds a bachelor’s degree in English Education from Grambling State University and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Louisiana State University.

With 30 years of experience in education, Shalonda has served as an English teacher, Assistant Principal, high school principal, middle school principal, and Executive Director of School Leadership for High Schools in the East Baton Rouge Parish School System. She retired from East Baton Rouge Parish Schools in July 2024 after three decades of dedicated service and continues her commitment to student success through her leadership at JCFA.
